Each dip makes between 1 1/2 cups to 2 cups depending on whether they are made with all sour cream (2 cups) or a combination (1 c sour cream and 1/2 c mayonnaise) Mostly it is a matter of taste and my directions are only suggestions. Spices and herbs do not go bad but they do lose their strength over time. It would be safe to say that if properly stored, they will be good (meaning optimal flavor) for at least a year. All dip mixes are made fresh to order!
